The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke is looking to recruit a Pool Attendant to join the Concierge department for summer 2021 and beyond.

The Sutton Place Hotel at Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a luxury 4 start hotel, located directly opposite the gondola and activities that provides experiences of a lifetime for our guests.

Duties include managing guest access to the pool, hot tubs and gym area whilst providing outstanding guest service that meets and exceeds guest expectations. The Pool Attendant must possess a positive and upbeat personality, have the ability to multi-task and be confident in explaining COVID-19 related policies to guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pool booking system and make bookings in person and via telephone.
• Monitor safety and security in the pool area ensuring all rules are followed.
• Ensure timeslots are adhered to and manage the flow of guests in the pool and fitness center areas.
• Take charge of opening and closing the pool area.
• Perform light cleaning of pool and gym spaces and regular sanitizing of touch points.
• Provide towels, robes and other sundries to guests where required.
• Provide personalized service in a professional manner.
• Answer inquiries regarding hotel and resort services
• Work professionally with various departments ensuring clear communication.
• Assist the Concierge department with various tasks where required.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and a professional appearance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent preferred
• Experience in all aspects of customer service
• Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to coordinate and organize
