Join our team as our next IT Support Specialist. The successful candidate will possess an excellent understanding of networking, software and hardware systems, related technologies, and have a passion for delivering excellent internal customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identify and document all computer and network requirements for the company and provide support to users as needed
  • Respond to technical and systems failures and triage as needed
  • Liaise with internal and external team as needed to identify and document requirements, assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware
  • Provide computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by all users
  • Administer, monitor and assess all IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, application, and network problems
  • Assist with deployment of new systems and users
  • Networking: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching, VPN and firewalls
  • Windows Server: Active Directory (User Account Management/Onboarding and Offboarding), Hyper-V Virtualization, Backups, and Disaster Recovery
  • Ad-hoc projects as required from time to time

What You Bring to Us:

  • Certificate / Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering or related field with several years of hands on experience
  • Ability to write simple scripts to automate tasks on the server
  • Working expertise in network and security solutions
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
  • Ability to manage changing priorities
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MacOS as well as other various software packages
  • The ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritize your workload without supervision

Bonus:

  • Working expertise in AutoDesk Products, VoIP, PowerShell and familiarity with Render Farms
  • Has a security-oriented mindset and interested in security testing
  • Has a solid understanding of extensive backup and disaster recovery protocols
