As a Micro Technologies Field IT Service & Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be the on-site service and support of the hardware for Micro Technologies computerized feed management and animal health systems, wired and wireless infrastructures at our customer’s cattle feeding and dairy operations, while delivering exceptional customer service and support to those customers as well as other departments within Micro Technologies.

• Maintenance of micro machine including fluids, hoses, and pumps.
• Experienced in computer hardware installation, configuration, training, maintenance, diagnostics & replacement
• Basic knowledge of networks and network topology
• Experience with wireless infrastructure installation and maintenance preferred
• Must have ability to run and terminate coaxial and networking cable runs
• Experience in virus removal
• Experienced in Windows 7, 8 & 10
• Basic knowledge of Linux is preferred
• Experience with supporting 1 to 20 computers/workstations
• A degree or certification is preferred, but not required. A successful candidate should have equivalent experience in a technical field
• Strong planning, problem-solving, decision-making skills
• Must be motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
• Must be motivated to learn and adapt to areas you may be unfamiliar with
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be available for local (day) travel. Occasional overnight travel will be required
• Be available to cover a rotating weekend and holiday on-call schedule
• Must have ability to climb grain legs and other like structures
• Must have a good driving record
