This vacancy is subject to the requirements of the Facility Staff Assignment Order (the “SSO”) issued by the Fraser Health’s Medical Health Officer further to the Order issued by the Provincial Health Officer on April 10, 2020 (amended April 15, 2020) (the “PHO Order”). While these Orders are in effect the successful applicant to this vacancy will be limited to working in only one (1) private long-term care hospital, licensed long-term care facility, registered assisted living facility, stand-alone extended care hospital or provincial mental health facility (the “Facilities”).

We are currently looking for a Relief Part Time Health Care Assistant in our Long Term Care Facility -Queen’s Park Care Centre in New Westminster, BC.

  • Provide care and support to medically stable clients waiting to be assessed for, or placed in, an alternative setting such as residential care.
  • Build on your career experience as you provide person-centered care to our residents.
  • Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team to execute our Team’s care plans.

To join our team, you will have:

  • Graduated from a recognized Health Care Assistant program
  • Food Safe Level 1 Certificate
  • Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry (please include your registration number on your application)

This is a relief part time position and will be available until August 2021 or until the return of incumbent.
